We mourn...

Journal Entry: Tue Nov 10, 2009, 2:57 PM

A SMALL LITTLE FEATURE

:thumb120776732:

Today we mourn the passing of a beloved old friend, “Common Sense,” who has been with us for many years. No one knows for sure how old he was, since his birth records were long ago lost in bureaucratic red tape. He will be remembered as having cultivated such valuable lessons as:

- knowing when to come in out of the rain;

- the early bird gets the worm;

- life isn’t always fair; and

- maybe it was my fault.

Common Sense lived by simple, sound financial policies (don’t spend more than you can earn) and reliable strategies (adults, not children, are in charge).

His health began to deteriorate rapidly when well-intentioned but overbearing regulations were set in place. Reports of a 6-year-old boy charged with sexual harassment for kissing a classmate; teens suspended from school for using mouthwash after lunch; and a teacher fired for reprimanding an unruly student, only worsened his condition.

Common Sense lost ground when parents attacked teachers for doing the job that they themselves had failed to do in disciplining their unruly children.

It declined even further when schools were required to get parental consent to administer sun lotion or an aspirin to a student, but could not inform parents when a student became pregnant and wanted to have an abortion.

Common Sense lost the will to live as the churches became businesses and criminals received better treatment than their victims.

Common Sense took a beating when you couldn’t defend yourself from a burglar in your own home and the burglar could sue you for assault.

Common Sense finally gave up the will to live, after a woman failed to realize that a steaming cup of coffee was hot. She spilled a little in her lap and was promptly awarded a huge settlement.

Common Sense was preceded in death, by his parents, “Truth” and “Trust,” by his wife, “Discretion,” by his daughter, “Responsibility,” and by his son, “Reason.”

He is survived by his 4 stepbrothers – “I Know My Rights,” “I Want It Now,” “Someone Else Is To Blame,” and “I’m A Victim.”

Not many attended his funeral, because so few realized he was gone. If you still remember him, pass this on. If not, join the majority and do nothing.

Nice guys STILL finish last

Wed Nov 4, 2009, 4:02 AM
To every guy that said, "Sex can wait"...
To every guy that said, "You're beautiful"...
To every guy that was never too busy to drive across town to see her...
To every guy that gives her flowers and a card when she is sick or down...
To every guy who has given her flowers just because that's how he rolls...
To every guy that said he would die for her...
To every guy that really would...
To every guy that did what she wanted to die for...
To every guy that cried in front of her...
To every guy that she cried in front of...
To every guy that holds hands with her.
To every guy that kisses her with meaning..
To every guy that hugs her when she's sad...
To every guy that hugs her for no reason at all...
To every guy who would give their jacket up for her...
To every guy that calls to make sure she got home safe...
To every guy that would sit and wait for her for hours just to see her for ten minutes...
To every guy that would give his seat up...
To every guy that just wants to cuddle...
To every guy that reassured her that she was beautiful no matter what...
To every guy who told his secrets to her...
To every guy that showed how much he cared through every word and every breath...
To every guy that thought maybe this could be the one...
To every guy that believed in her dreams...
To every guy that would have done anything so she could achieve them...
To every guy that never laughed at her when she told him her dreams...
To every guy that walked her to her car and opened the door...
To every guy that gave his heart...
To every guy who prays that she is happy even if he's not with her...

There aren't many nice guys out there anymore. But I'm proud to be one of those guys. I guarantee that about 90% of us guys won't go and re-post this in their journal.

If you're one of us nice guys, go ahead and re-post this with the title, "Nice Guys STILL Finish Last"

If you're a girl who thinks that every guy should treat a girl this way, repost this with the title, "To Every Guy"

P.s- Girl's luv that in a guy *wink*

This is Halloween...

Mon Sep 28, 2009, 3:37 PM
As the tittle of the journal suggest this is about one of my favorite holidays, Halloween. The time of year when the leaves look their greatest, the sound of them crushing as you walk down the street, and the crisp refreshing air giving you a reason to move and stay alive. And the night of is even more fun. Walking around in dark outfits, either getting free candy, enjoying the darkness's company, or both can be so enjoyable, and no matter how many times a human being may deny it, everyone feels some sort of strong emotion when it comes to that date.

But that is not the reason for this, certainly all these things are fun, but they are not the purpose of this Journal. The reason I am asking this is to tell you all something and for your opinion on something. First, I am now starting a story for this season, the story will consist of a handful of chapters (not heavily detailed of course) and I will hopefully post two every week between now and Halloween. The teaser I will give you all for the story is that it takes place five years after a zombie outbreak and they are still around, the rest you will get by reading. The reason I am doing this is A, it's Halloween okay. B, to finish a story for real. And C, because it seems like fun.

Now, onto what I wish to ask of you all. Okay, I am completely unsure of what I want to go as for Halloween, I think I am going to a party for it with my best buddy who is dressing up as a vampire, correction, a cheesy vampire, complete with blue tux, black cape with red inside, white clown make-up, fake blood, and cheesy ass fangs. Yes, I know, sounds stupid but hey it's Halloween. But that is not the point, the point is I need help finding out what I want to be. I do have a budget of around $100 or less, perferbly I would like it to be less. But I could use all the help and suggestions I can get, one rule though, it has to clash with his outfit so the irony is so much that it hurts. Please give your suggestions and ideas below, and as always, have a nice day! ^^

curse of curves

Tue Aug 18, 2009, 4:46 PM
Well I got nothing for the next few weeks. Mostly I'm in a mood of constant depression and that has led to a feeling of extrema lethargy that makes me as useful as grocery bag with a huge hole in the bottom. School starts in a few weeks and there is a small chance that I might go back to my old school with all my friends instead of a new one which would be very bad because I know no one. Let's see, what else is there? I have no girlfriend at the moment which in my opinion may be a good reason for my depressed/lethargic mood, but hey that's just me. Hopefully I will be able to go to my moms house this weekend and go to a party with some friends and get to have some fun before the summer is out, but with my luck it doesn't look to good. Hopefully when school starts I will be able to do a lot more work on stories I have going on. Anyway, that's all I have for now.
